Old Fidelians Building

History

Mother Saint Mary and the Sisters arrived in Upper Norwood in 1848 and immediately began to build the Convent, School, and a large chapel. The chapel (i.e. the current parish church) was completed and opened in 1871. The church was consecrated on 17th June 1931. The Parish is truly blessed to have the Sisters presence.
